2015 Fort Hunt 10K

Registration is closed for this event

Distance: 6.2 Miles.

Daylight Savings Time alert!  Daylight savings time begins early this morning.  Be sure to "spring forward" your clocks an hour before you turn in on Saturday, or you'll miss the race start!

Course Description: The Fort Hunt 10K course consists of 5+ laps around the paved perimeter road of Fort Hunt Park. There are no big hills on the course, but each lap does have some little ups and downs. The redundant nature of the course has some benefits: SIX water stops (actually one water stop that is passed six times), and the opportunity for spectators to stay in one place and cheer for their favorite competitors as they pass by multiple times!

The Fort Hunt 10K is Snowball Series Race #8.

Registration: Online Registration will close at 12:00 PM on March 7th. Non-members must register in advance; we are not permitted to transact business on National Park Service property. On-site runner check-in begins at 7 am, one hour before the race start.

Entry Fee: Free for DCRRC members; $5 for non-members. Please pre-register online, as race-day registration is not available at National Park Service venues.
