Holiday Relays

Annual DCRRC Holiday Relays at 7PM on Wednesday night at the Washington-Lee HS Track.  Hugely fun event for runners of all abilities. Two-person teams alternate for a total of 20 laps (10 x 400M each). Teams formed by pairing fastest and slowest runners until all have a partner. Wear your holiday running attire and get those bells out!  No registration required.  Just come on out and have fun.  Afterwards, we're headed right up the street to Carpool in Arlington for fun, food & beers! If you're not interested in a festive track workout, then you can meet us at Carpool at 8:00 p.m. ID required at the door.  Happy holidays!


2014 Award Nominations

Nominations for 2014 club awards (presented at the Club Banquet in March 2015) will be accepted until January 5, 2015. Self-nominations are allowed.


Spring Training Programs

The DC Road Runners Club Spring Training programs are your opportunity to successfully prepare for the Rock 'n' Roll DC series or any spring race of your choice.

Marathon Training Program: It is not too late to join! in December, we meet at 8:15 at Lululemon Georgetown and are back to our regular time (8:00 a.m.) and location of Athleta Georgetown in January. 

Half Marathon Training Program: The 14-week training program starts at 8:30am Saturday, December 13 at Lululemon Georgetown. Note: In January, we move back to our regular location of Athleta Georgetown. On that Saturday, come prepared to run three miles following a short introductory overview of the program.
