Location address and directions: 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield VA 22151. Lake Accotink may be reached from I-95 by taking Old Keene Mill Rd. west to right on Hanover Ave. Turn left on Highland Ave. and then right on Accotink Park Rd. Entrance is on the left. Click here for Google map and directions. Go about a half-mile beyond the point indicated in the Google map (which is actually the park headquarters office) ... you'll know you're in the right place when you see a big open parking area with an elevated railroad trestle.  Park in this area.  The race starts on the edge of the lake, on the right side of the spillway as you're facing it from the parking lot.
