Due to a football game, we won't have access to the Washington-Lee track tonight (8/31). Instead, we'll run mile repeats on the Custis and W&OD trails. This route (map) will look familiar if you ran SLR on Saturday, and pacing should be similar to last week on the track.
- Warmup: from W-L, head north on N Stafford St, turn left on 15th St N and right on the Custis Trail. Pass MM 1.5.
- Mile 1 (Custis): MM 1.0 to MM 0.0
- Recovery: turn right after MM 0.0, follow trail around curve, turn right at gazebo onto W&OD
- Mile 2 (W&OD): MM 4.0 to MM 5.0
- Recovery: jog 200 meters and turn around
- Mile 3 (W&OD): MM 5.0 to MM 4.0 (reverse of Mile 2)
- Recovery: turn left at gazebo onto Custis, follow trail around curve
- Mile 4 (Custis): MM 0.0 to MM 1.0 (reverse of Mile 1)
- Cooldown: reverse of warmup
There's a water fountain at the intersection of Custis and W&OD (next to the gazebo).
