May 15 SLR

Hello Saturday Runners!

This week's route will be Piney Branch.  Feel free to follow the link and print your desired format of cue sheet, or take your chances with the tree-hugging version I'll provide.  :)

Please thank Rick for bringing your May post-run beverages!  If you can take over for him in June, please let me know and we'll coordinate a hand-off.  Also, we'll need beverage volunteers to help us with the SLR/Marathon Training Program midpoint stops.  Let me know if there is a week you can help out-- the first two weeks' routes are C&O Canal and RFK, if you happen to like setting up in either of those two places.

Please take a look at your schedules, and if there is a week you can help out because, for example, you are tapering for a race, or you have relatives** in town who'd like to help you out some weekend, just let me know!  I'll have the rest of the routes posted soon for those who like to do "their" spot or a location near their home.

**In the case of the relatives, allowing them to do a midpoint beverage stop is a great way to prove to them that there are other people who are just as crazy as you are and who also get up at the crack of dawn to run farther in the DC heat.than some people care to drive in a week.  Just sayin'.

See you Saturday!

Kristin
