SLR January 17 - UPDATE

Saturday Runners,

Due to the recent change in start location for the club's JFK 5K/20K race, this week's route will be modified slightly.  The unaltered route would put us on the C&O Towpath at the same time as the 5K, running into oncoming race traffic.  The Towpath is reportedly mostly clear, but still has a few patches of ice, so to avoid any issues we'll be running the Marymount Chain Bridge route in reverse.  This will put the hills in the second half of the route, making for a tougher workout, so save some energy in the first half (and get ready to run UP the steep hill from Chain Bridge to Randolph)!

Happy running,

Mike
