Jan 8 SLR

Hello Saturday Runners!

This week we'll run Ross Drive.  The National Marathon training program participants are doing a modified version of this run (click here to see their route).  If you do their modification, it will be about 16 miles for you, and it is my understanding our Boston Marathon Training Program is looking for that kind of mileage.  We may as well all do it together, so we can navigate the well-loved route with as much aid from our fellow runners as possible!

If you are reading these emails but won't be running SLR on Saturday, please consider helping with the Al Lewis 10-Miler.  I got a call earlier this week asking for more help!  This is a fun race on a fun morning, and it's probably even more so if you stop and get some doughnuts and coffee first and help out with the race rather than going to the trouble of actually running it.  If you want to try that angle, please email Sharone or Aaron Cheskis.  Check out the races page for more info.  Please!

Thanks again to Adam for providing our January beverages.  If you want to sign on for March duty, please let me know!
