Don’t miss Temple Sinai’s first annual Tricia Davis 5K Run/Walk in support of Sinai House, a residential social service program for homeless families in Washington, DC. Proceeds from the Sinai House 5K will directly benefit funding Sinai House’s important support services.

Register today as a runner, walker or virtual runner (donate without racing) and enjoy the temple celebration—with prizes, food and activities—free of charge. 

Packet Pick Up:

All race participants must pick up their race packets. The packet will include the timing chip (for timed race participants only) and race bib. Packet pick up is available Friday, May 15th from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (prior to Shabbat Services) at Temple Sinai and on race day at Rock Creek Park from 7:00 a.m.-7:30 a.m.

Race Details:

Join us for Part 1 of our Sinai House celebration, a 5k race or short fun run. Please arrive by 7:30 AM for an 8 AM race start. The fun run will be shortly after the timed race. Strollers and dogs welcome, but please stay toward the back of the pack while lining up. For safety reasons, dog leashes must be shorter than 3’ and no extendible/flexible leashes are permitted. The race begins at Rock Creek Park Grove 24.

Race Parking:

Please use Colorado Ave (from 16th Street) to park at Grove 24 in the Carter Barron Parking lot near the entrance to the Tennis Center. If you are using a GPS, use the Tennis Center’s address: 4850 Colorado Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20011.

Celebration:

After the race, join us for part 2 of the Sinai House celebration, a carnival and awards ceremony at Temple Sinai. The fun will start at 9am and the awards will be distributed at 10:30 am. All are welcome!

• 1 Mile Fun Run Participant Under Age 13: $18

(Note: Fun run is untimed. Children under 13 are welcome to choose either the 1 Mile Fun Run or the 5K but they must specify which they will be participating in during registration.)
