- Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Training: This year we're introducing a more robust intermediate and advanced training program designed for those of you looking for a PR. Don't worry, we'll still offer a beginner program.
- All paces are welcome! If you haven't trained with us in a while, you may not know that we have pacers who run a 7:30 pace through a 12:30+ run/walk pace.
What pace should I run? Free Training Seminar and Time Trial: Feb. 7, 2026, 8 a.m. at Pacers in Georgetown
Ever struggle with figuring out what pace you should run your training runs at? Wonder how to set realistic race goals? On February 7, 2026, we'll have a free training seminar and time trial at Pacers in Georgetown. If you've never done a time trial before, they're a great way to monitor your running performance and see improvement as your training progresses. After the time trial, your DCRR coaching team will discuss pacing and how to use time trials (and tempo runs) to determine realistic race paces.Pacers will give everyone who attends a 10% discount on shoes and apparel. We'll also offer a light "runners breakfast" after the time trial. Time trial will start at 8:00 a.m. after a short introduction. The seminar will start at 9:30, so if you want to run with SLR and just come for the seminar, that totally works. Questions? Email the training team.
