​The Shamrock Run is a major fundraising tradition for the George C. Round PTO.  We use these funds to provide classroom materials for our students, to assist with educational field trips and to build community spirit through Family Night events.  On Saturday, March 19, 2016 the G.C. Round PTO will host our 17th Annual Shamrock Run.  This event includes a 5k race and a 1 mile fun run/walk.  Each year, participants compliment us for holding a professionally orchestrated race.  We have an average of 400 people who participate in our event each year, and we aim to add more people every year.  The Shamrock Run helps promote community health while supporting the students at George C. Round Elementary School.

Packet Pick-up/Pre-registration
4:00pm - 7:30pm at Round Elementary

Saturday March 19th
6:30am "Doors Open" registration, packet pick-up, coffee and other refreshments available
7:30am Student Check-in table and Treasure Chest Guess
8:30am Warm up with elements fitness for Women Zumba/WerQ dance team
9:00am 5k runners start
10:00am Live Performance - TBA
10:15am prizes and awards announced
10:30am wrap-up and special thanks

Special prizes will be given for the best dressed adult and child!
