Course Description: The Fort Hunt 10K course consists of 5+ laps around the paved perimeter road of Fort Hunt Park. There are no big hills on the course, but each lap does have some little ups and downs. The redundant nature of the course has some benefits: SIX water stops (actually one water stop that is passed six times), and the opportunity for spectators to stay in one place and cheer for their favorite competitors as they pass by multiple times! NPS Race Rules: These races take place in the National Park Service's jurisdiction. Please familiarize yourself and comply with our NPS Race Rules.
Directions: Fort Hunt Park is located approximately 6 miles south of Old Town Alexandria in Virginia along the George Washington Memorial Parkway. FAQ:
Q: Will the course be marked? A: No, but each loop is just under 1.25 miles.
