HPT Tempo run 07/07/14

After an incredibly nice Independence Day weekend, looks like we are going to have a slightly warmer and more humid Monday night. Not to worry though,  what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

For tonight's tempo, we will start at the Iwo Jima memorial at 6:30, warm up to the Jefferson Memorial. For people meeting us on the DC side, we will be at Jefferson around 6:55, gather up front of the snack stand on the SW side of the memorial.

We will start tempo from the Jefferson memorial, run under the 14th street Bridge on the west side of Hains Point, continuing to the intersection of Ohio and Buckeye, crossing to the other side of Hains point, making a left on Ohio drive, then a left on Basin Drive to the Jefferson Memorial, finally following Rock Creek trail all the way back up to Georgetown.

The plan is 25-26 Minutes tempo, which should get us from the Jefferson Memorial to somewhere near Georgetown on the Rock Creek trail.

After tempo we will all gather back up at Virginia Ave and Rock Creek to jog back to VA.

see ya tonight.
