2025 Jamestown HALLOWEEN Fun Run and Walk
The Jamestown PTA presents the 2025 Jamestown 2K Fun Run & Walk on Sunday, Nov 2nd!
 Burn off the Halloween candy and get another use of your costume! The 2K course will begin and end in the Jamestown Elementary front loop and proceed through the adjacent neighborhoods. Following the race there will be .15 mile kids' dash for ages 5 and under. Police support and parent volunteers will be stationed along the course. There will be three fun water stations along the route (sign-up here to be a station lead), Jamestown popcorn cups for sale, and the Good Company Doughnuts food truck on site serving up coffee, doughnuts, and other treats for purchase.
This fun run is open to any community members of all ages who would like to participate (not limited to current Jamestown students). Wearing costumes is highly encouraged! Participation medals will be presented to all finishers at the end of the race. Pets are not allowed, as they are not permitted on the school grounds. We encourage the community to show their support by cheering on participants!
There will also be a collection bin for extra Halloween candy to be donated to include in care packages for troops abroad, as well as to supply our local schools teacher and staff break rooms at Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown. Thank you for your generous donations.

Parking: Delaware Street will be closed to through traffic, but standard street parking is available in any of the neighborhoods near the course. Walking, biking, or drop off by car or Uber on N. Albemarle Street near the race start is also encouraged.
