With spring in the and spring in their step, 48 runners came to celebrate a beautiful day. Julie and Dan Clark of Clark Health Zone served XS Energy Drink before and after the race.
2:14 marathoner Elisha Tanui, on his first day in Washington DC to run SunTrust National Marathon, visited the race just for fun and signed autographs afterwards.
Running his first Tidal Basin 3K, Jimmy Daly frankly was faster than Mike Hamberger. Emeka Eni, another first-timer, outkicked Tatyana Steis for the women's win.
