To celebrate Leap Year Day, 18 hardy runners braved the cold for an extra race, the 409½th monthly running, at the suggestion of Peter Blank.

Blank held the lead briefly at the start, but then Ted Poulos passed him for good, with Charlie Mercer in second place.

Shirley Sameshima won the women's division, ahead of Dee Nelson.

Results compiled by J.J.Wind. Send additions or corrections.

Next monthly race: Wednesday, March 19, 2008
