The shutdown shut us down on Oct 5, but we're back with a modified race distance and new course. Our 20 Miler will now be a 10 Miler. The Janet Braunstein race will remain a 5 Miler. We were on track to have a sell out race originally, so the shutdown was a definite disappointment. Please come out and support DC Road Runners. This race, along with the Alexandria Turkey Trot, help the club sustain its mission of promoting fitness and community through running in the DMV. Here are the new race details:
When: Nov. 16, 2025
Where: Hains Point (same location as Al Lewis)
Swag: The first 250 runners will receive our 2025 race hoodie. After that, it's based on availability.
Cost: $43.50 for the 5 Miler and $54 for the 10 Miler
Discount for members: All DCRR members save $5 on either race with the coupon code: DCRR20255.
Prize money: A special thank you to PR Running who has donated our prizes once again. Our prizes for our top winners will remain the same. For the National Capital 10 Miler, we will give out age group awards, but we're still lining up the exact prizes.
