SLR - August 20 - 16 miles - Arlington Triangle

Hi Runners,

The run this week is now the Arlington Triangle (if you checked in advance you may have noticed we switched Arlington Triangle and Mock MCM) because there will be a bike race in downtown DC! Arlington Triangle is 16 miles and the GPS and cue sheet are here. Mrs. Big Guy will be providing mid-run drinks! And thank you to Emily for post run drinks!

I am out of town this weekend, but Nate will be there to kick you off!

The last DCRR race in the bunion derby is already this weekend! A 5K cross country race and a club picinic at Lake Accotink. Even if you don't want to race, it is a pretty place for a picnic!

The next book for book club is "Can't Hurt Me" by David Goggins! The book club meets on Sep 18th!

On October 30, 2022, DC Road Runners will again be supporting the Marine Corps Marathon & 50K at a water and food stop at the intersection of Canal Rd. and Foxhall Rd., just past Georgetown University. More details here!

Ask: if you are doing mileage that does not quite line up with our SLR plan (say you are running 20 miles next week) and you wanted to find a buddy within the SLR group, do you know any good apps or web platforms for coordination? I am all ears!

Happy running!

Megan
