SLR - May 21 - 6 AM START - Battery Kemble Loops

Hi Runners,

Saturday is going to be VERY hot with a low of 74, so we are meeting at 6 AM. This is hot for anytime of the year, but especially spring when we haven’t had much time to acclimate. Please be smart – carry water, adjust the length of your planned route to match the weather, and listen to your body on the run.

The run this week is Battery Kemble Loops! It is 16 miles route that is easy to shorten. The GPS and cue sheet are here. To run 14 miles, run to the base of the two loops, skip the loops and turn back. Otherwise you can run an out and back at any point on the route.

Big shout out to Sydney for bringing post run drinks this week - we will need them! We are looking for post run drink volunteers, so please email me to sign up!

The bunion derby kicks off June 5th with DCRRC Women's Distance Festival 5K and Run After the Women 5K! Registration is open here and we are always looking for volunteers!

Happy running!

Megan
