SLR - February 26 - 20 Miles

Hi All,

This week is the Custis - W&OD route! The cue sheets and gps files are here. If you'd like to run less than 20 miles, you can turn around halfway through!

Thank you to Eunja for bringing the bins and Anthony for bringing more gatorade! Please consider volunteering for Post Run drinks and if you have any questions let me know! The drinks are reimbursed by the club through this link. Doing two weeks counts for Snowball Series volunteer credit.

Snowball Series race #7 is the Burke Lake 12K on March 6th! Please consider racing or volunteering. Gary is the race director so please help him make it a good one! The next race is the Fort Hunt 10K on March 13th.

The DCRRC annual banquet will be held on Sunday, March 6th, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Maggiano's Little Italy in Friendship Heights. The club will present our annual awards for outstanding and most improved athletes, recognize our top coach and volunteer, and elect a new board of directors for the 2022-2023 term. Get excited because the guest speaker is the brand-new American women's marathon record-holder, Keira D’Amato! Registration is required, and you may do so here.

Best of luck to those of you racing the Club 10 miler on Sunday!

Happy running!

Megan
