SLR - July 17 - 11 Miles

Hi Runners,

It is going to be a DC summer day this Saturday – HOT and HUMID! Please come prepared hydrated and hydrate during and after the run as well. We do not have a mid run drinks volunteer so please plan to run with any water you may need. Thank you Yared for bringing post run drinks again!

The route this week is Fort Scott Hill. The cue sheet and GPS links are here. Unfortunately, Fort Scott Hill is rather exposed to the heat and sun. An alternate route we can consider running is up Rock Creek on the first 5.5 miles of Ross Drive. This has the benefit of shade and coming back on a downhill.

Upcoming bunion derby races are on the website, check them out!

Please be sure to follow CDC guidelines with respect to COVID-19.

Happy running!

Megan
