VIRTUAL - SLR May 29 - Marymount Chain Bridge

Hi Runners,

I hope you enjoy your Memorial Day weekend! The route this weekend is the 14 mile Marymount Chain Bridge Route. The cue sheet and GPS links are here.

Starting the first weekend of June we will be having SLR in person for those who are comfortable. I am so excited to begin SLR runs again!!

We will have some safety protocols in place for June 5 and June 12 (please see below). After the first two weeks we will ask for feedback and reevaluate the plan.

Out of caution, we will have administrative controls in place. If you are not comfortable attending in person at this time, that is totally fine! We look forward to seeing you again when you are comfortable.

For liability purposes, we request you to be a Club member in good standing and sign the club waiver prior to coming to SLR. We encourage you to be fully vaccinated prior to coming to Saturday long runs and request that you adhere to all CDC guidelines. If your membership is not up to date, this is a good time to pay your membership dues. If you have any questions, please contact deborah@dcroadrunners.org.

Please wear a mask at the kickoff time and continue to wear it for at least the first 5 minutes of the run (regardless of vaccination status) to allow for separation of the group. Be mindful of the community and anyone you pass and try to give others 6 feet of space if possible. When you finish your run, please do not congregate. In order to minimize contact the run will be BYO water and BYO map for now (I plan to use my phone for the map).

If you have experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours, we ask that you DO NOT attend SLR for the benefit of other club members:

fever or chills

cough

· shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

fatigue

·Â Â Â Â Â Â  muscle or body aches

·Â Â Â Â Â Â  headache

·Â Â Â Â Â Â  new loss of taste or smell

·Â Â Â Â Â Â  sore throat

·Â Â Â Â Â Â  congestion or runny nose

·Â Â Â Â Â Â  nausea or vomiting

·Â Â Â Â Â Â  diarrhea
