VIRTUAL - SLR August 29 - 13 Miles

Hi Runners,

Kam is doing a great job with the August SLR Challenge! Do you have what it takes to out-Strava-art him for the chance to win a DCRR facemask? It will be tough!

If following the Marathon Training Program schedule, the recommended long run distance this week is 13 miles on the Normanstone – Klingle route. But again, all distances are welcome for this challenge! The original route plans can always be found on the DCRR SLR page.

Questions, concerns, or suggestions? Please email me at megan@dcroadrunners.org. And if you have ideas for next motivation next month, I am all ears.

How do you participate in the challenge?

  • Plan your run for the weekend. Abstract art is welcome too!
  • Post in the Facebook group. Please include your route and a description. The more creative the better!
  • Vote! Log into Facebook and like posts you find most creative to vote for them.
  • The person whose post gets the most likes by the following Wednesday at 5 PM wins a mask!

Take care,

Megan
