SLR February 22 - Battery Kemble Loops

Hi Saturday Runners!

This week we will be doing the 15 mile Battery Kemble Loops route (downloads: cue sheet and GPS). The loops add a mile so you can do a 14 mile route by turning around before the loops, otherwise, it is an out and back and pretty straight forward to shorten! I won’t be there this Saturday so Jonny and Jill will kick you guys off, but I hope to see some of you at the club challenge 10 miler on Sunday!

Thanks again to Kate S. for post-run drinks! We will need more volunteers for the last week of April and all of May. The weekly schedule of volunteers, routes, and distances is always kept up to date on the SLR web page, and you can email me at megan@dcroadrunners.org any time to sign up. For general information on how volunteering works see the SLR FAQ or send me an email with any specific questions.

In other club news, there is only a few days left to sign up for a DCRRC Cherry Blossom Team! The last day is next Monday, 2/24. The link to the sign-up sheet is here. You can also sign up for the Annual Banquet on March 1 here. We will be collecting unopened, healthy, low sugar, cereal to support the Capital Area Food Bank. All contributors will be given a raffle ticket for awesome door prizes.

See you soon!

Megan
