SLR December 14 - Fort Scott Hill

Hello Saturday Runners!

Our route this week, on December 14, is 11 miles to Fort Scott Hill (downloads: cue sheet and GPS). If you'd like to add more distance on this run, an easy way to do so is by continuing further down the Mt Vernon Trail, either before or after heading off through Crystal City. For a shorter run you can turn around at any point before the end (though you'd miss the hill!) since it's an out & back route. Unfortunately there's rain in the forecast for most of the day on Saturday, but at least the temperature shouldn't be too terrible for it, at around 50 deg. I can't make it this weekend, but Coach Jonny will be there to start off both SLR and MTP.

Thank you Mikala Whitaker for post-run drinks this week! We will need more volunteers in February and beyond, so please let me know when you can help. The weekly schedule of volunteers, routes, and distances is always kept up to date on the SLR web page, and you can email me any time to book your slot. For general info on how volunteering works see the SLR FAQ or send me an email if you have any other specific questions.

Happy running,

Mike
