SLR January 5 - Arlington Triangle

Hello Saturday Runners!

This week's route is the 16 mile Arlington Triangle loop (downloads: cue sheet and GPS). If you'd like to run less than 16 miles, I'd recommend starting out with the group and turning around at half of your desired distance, since there isn't really an easy way to short-circuit this loop. The weather is unfortunately looking wet tomorrow morning, so be prepared for some cold rain with temperatures in the mid 40s.

Thank you Eric Jackson for post-run drinks this week, and Jonny Pellish for filling in for me! We will need more volunteers in January and beyond, so please let me know when you can help. The weekly schedule of volunteers, routes, and distances is always kept up-to-date on the SLR web page, and you can email me any time to book your slot. For general info on how volunteering works see the SLR FAQ or send me an email if you have any other specific questions.

Nominations for 2018 club awards (presented at the Club Banquet in March 2019) will be accepted until January 6, 2019. You may submit multiple nominations, for the same or different awards. Self-nominations are allowed. This is your annual chance to recognize the outstanding achievements of your SLR buddies!

Happy running,

Mike
