9/6 SLR and Weather

Hi Everyone,

It is looking like we might have questionable weather tomorrow morning due to Tropical Storm Hanna.

Currently, the weather forecast is showing that it should just be raining during the SLR hours--but we all know that can change!

So, in light of this, SLR is running on an informal (not that it is every really that formal!) basis tomorrow.
This means that everyone should personally make their own best judgment as to whether to come to SLR tomorrow morning or not based on the conditions.

If it is just raining, I encourage folks to come out and run....and, we will have gatorade/water on the course and post-run beverages.

IF the weather is more severe, we will not have the midpoint beverage and I encourage folks to stay home.

I apologize that this is somewhat vague. If you have a running buddy that you usually run with at SLR, maybe get in contact with them and decide together whether to come out to run or not.

I don't want to outright cancel SLR b/c there is a strong chance that the weather will be suitable for running BUT I also want everyone to be safe if conditions are more severe.

Adam Stolzberg is set to get SLR started if conditions are good and I will be at the midpoint water stop with Mary Casey.

Hope to see you tomorrow morning,
:)Kerry.
