Sept 19 SLR

Well, it's time for the big one-- Saturday's route is the 22-mile Capital Crescent/Rock Creek loop.  It's lovely, but if 22 miles of loveliness is more than you want, don't worry.  Just make it an out and back.

Upon your return, if you'd like your car to be waiting for you ticket-free, be sure to avoid Marshall Drive (the little pothole-infested road between the entrance to Ft. Myer and 110).  A friendly neighborhood authority warned us not to park there last week, so plan accordingly.

Also, please enjoy the mid-point and post-run beverages Carl Ford and Mary Ellen Seale will bring for us.  Please thank them, as well as Colleen Marzec for taking away our recyclable trash.

If you, too, would like to experience well-earned thanks and accolades, we are looking for post-run beverage help on and after 10/10.  Let me know if you can assist us!  Thank you all for making every run a fun one, and see you Saturday!

Kristin
