SLR Updates!

Hi Everyone,

We are all set for this Saturday's (Oct 6) SLR---

1) The route is out-and-back on the Custis and W&OD trails for a total of 20 miles:
http://www.dcroadrunners.org/longrun/routes/CustisMathis.html
Note that we will not be providing cue-sheets as this is a fairly straight-forward route (at least for SLR :P)
Also note that you can shorten the route by turning around early....

2) Richard Rapine will be sub-leading....as I will be in Miami.

3) John Coogan will be providing the mid-point beverage stop.
He will be on the trail between I-66 and the Beltway. There is a park
there.
He asked me to make sure people understand that when they cross the first highway, that is only I-66, and the Beltway is another half mile.

4) Andrew Kent will be providing the post-run beverages.

5) We will start at 7am this week.....and will switch to an 8am start NEXT week, Oct 13....

Have a great run,
:)Kerry.
