Alright everyone, here is the deal.
First off, if you plan on coming tonight please reply to all, if you don't plan on coming don't bother replying, that way we don't have a mass of emails.
Looks like the real snow is going to start around 5:00 PM, which might make our tempo workout a little difficult on open streets. In light of that, we will have 3 plans on the books.
Plan A: Standard Hains Point tempo.
Starting and finishing at the Iwo Jima memorial.
24 Minutes around the entire point starting from the Jefferson Memorial.
Plan B: Loops under the whitehurst freeway.
Warming up from Iwo Jima, or parking directly under the whitehurst freeway and then running loops under the freeway (it's just over half a mile end to end.) Since this is supposed to be a time/effort workout, distance shouldn't matter that much.
Plan C: To each their own.
If it's really bad out, we should probably not do an organized run, so you can just chill at home, the gym, or a bar.
I will send out an email to everyone who replies yes around 5:30 with the final plan.
Other notes:
Reminder about the Club Challenge 10 miler:
This is a great race, plus it's free and the club pays for transportation and beer. All of you should represent the club and hopefully run fast.
