2014 Predictions & Resolutions 5K

Distance and course: Out-and-back 5K course on the Mount Vernon Tail starting near Key Bridge.  Certified course, click here for map

Registration: Online by clicking this link until noon on December 31st, or day-of-race on-location starting at 11:00 am.  Note: Non-members must register in advance, as our race permit does not allow us to exchange money on National Park Service grounds.

Refund policy for low key races: In the event the race is canceled, pre-paid non-members will receive a credit to be applied to a future low-key race.

NPS Race Rules:  This race takes place in the National Park Service's jurisdiction.  Please familiarize yourself and comply with our NPS Race Rules.

Race-day Information: Chip pickup and on-site registration will begin at 11:00 A.M. near the starting line on the Mount Vernon Trail.  The Race will start promptly at 12:00 P.M.

Directions: I-66 or GW Parkway to downtown Rosslyn.  Or take the Metro Orange or Blue line to the Rosslyn station, then follow this map to get to the start.  The starting line is near Key Bridge.

Volunteer: If you would like to volunteer, please email race director Ben Richter. Although this isn't a Snowball Series race, volunteering for it counts for Snowball Series credit.

Timing and Awards: This race is timed using the Chronotrack timing system.  Please familiarize yourself with how the timing tags work by visiting the Chronotrack website.
