SMR February 15 - Mass Ave

Date: Sunday, February 15

Time: 8:30 AM

Location: Fuse Pilates in Dupont Circle area (2008 Hillyer Rd NW Washington, DC)

Distance: 3-7+ miles

If you are looking for a social run group to get in your longer miles for a 10K, 10-Miler, or half marathon -- we are that group. As always, Fuse opens 10 minutes prior to the start of our runs. If you arrive any earlier the doors will be locked, so just wait outside (but you are in the right place!).

The SMR runs do not have a sign-in/sign-out so please make sure to stick with a buddy and please click on the route pre-run to decide what option you would like to do. We do have Gatorade, water, and will help you get matched up to someone that is running your pace and distance.

For 3 miles or less run an out and back on Massachusetts Avenue.

For 7+ miles, extend farther along Connecticut Avenue.

All routes this week begin by taking a left out of Fuse and making the first left onto 21st to hit Massachusetts Avenue. Make a right onto Massachusetts and follow it up.

3.5-mile option: Take a right onto 34th Street then a Right onto Garfield Street. Garfield turns into Woodley Road which hits Connecticut. Make a right onto Connecticut and take it back to Fuse.

4.5-mile option: Follow the 3.5mile route above. When you are on Connecticut make a left onto Calvert to loop around Adams Morgan and then meet back up with Connecticut and take it back to Fuse

7 mile option: Continue up Massachusetts and take a right onto Wisconsin Avenue. Follow Wisconsin and take a right onto Idaho Avenue. Idaho turns into Rodman (just keep following it). Rodman will hit Connecticut and make a right. Follow Connecticut and make a left onto Calvert. Make a left onto Columbia Avenue and then a right onto 16th Street. Follow 16th down to Q Street and thru Dupont Circle and back to Fuse.

You can tailor any of the routes to meet your running needs if you prefer to run less or more mileage. If you need help or have questions, please email Kristi@dcroadrunners.org.
