April 29 HPT Tempo run

Hey everyone, happy tempo Monday!

We are still in recovery mode from the winter/spring cycle... Which means we are still only doing 2 miles worth of tempo this evening.

I think that next week it would be fun to do shorter harder hills on Lover's Lane In Georgetown, what do you all think?

See ya tonight.

B.

April 22 HPT Tempo Run

We're between training cycles, so tonight we'll run straight back from the Jefferson Memorial (two miles).

April 8 HPT Tempo Run

Hey everyone, the end is here. Cherry Blossom was yesterday and Boston is next week, which means our training cycle is over.

Congrats to everyone who ran Cherry Blossom:

  • Anna with a 1:04 and a 3 minute PR
  • Miguel #2 in 59:45  for his first sub 60
  • Carrie in a 1:12
  • Mike Tosto who is back to running

The plan for today calls for 15 minutes worth of tempo, which means we will go around the Buckeye drive cutoff, but not all the way around Hains Point.

After this week we will take a few weeks off. This doesn't mean no group run, just that we will play the workout by ear, and go a little shorter.

See you tonight.
