NATIONAL MARATHON: DC Road Runners will be manning a water stop as well as a “CHEERING STATION” at mile 21/22 which is in Anacostia Park for the National Marathon on March 20th.  National Marathon will be providing T-Shirts and Noise Makers for the Cheer Station.  We would like to have a large turnout to cheer on and support runners as they are in the home stretch. Check the website for information and sign up to volunteer.  We will need to be there from 8:45 – 12:45 and if you need to come late, or leave early you will not be able to drive as the road will be closed.  I will be getting information at a training session on Sunday March 14^th, with the  Community Relations Director.  Please consider coming out to support our club runners and newest members who have been training for this event.
