April 17 HPT tempo run: Boston Edition

Happy Marathon Monday, and good luck to everyone running. Elite women start at 9:32am, elite men at 10:00am.

I'll be at Iwo Jima tonight; if you're coming please let me know.

April 10 HPT tempo run

Hey everyone it's Monday, aka Tempo day!
Boston is next week, which means today is the shortest of our tempo runs for this training cycle, only 15 minutes of tempo.
Also after this week we will take around a month of easier running before we start the fall cycle targeted at MCM.

April 3 HPT Tempo run

It's April everyone, the Boston training cycle is basically over and the spring racing season is upon us.
Congrats to all of you who ran Cherry Blossom, too many people to list.
Tonight we are doing 20 minutes of tempo, which means that we get to cut the tempo portion down but running the buckeye drive cutoff and back up to georgetown.
Also of note, it's April, which means Pacer's Friday Night 5K's are back. Last year we had a good group at all of these, and I think it would be fun to run and beer on friday nights again
See you tonight!
