2015 Panther Pride 5K

The 3rd annual Panther Pride 5K Run/Walk  is coming again this spring! Teachers, students, faculty and staff at Bristow Run ES have committed to becoming 21st century learners and leaders. Teachers are working hard to infuse skills that students will need to be successful upon entry into our global community.  Our goal is to provide increased rigor and incorporate learning opportunities that challenge our students thinking. Proceeds from this event will go towards the purchase of literacy materials, namely an exciting literacy series called Benchmark Literacy.

While we are expecting a competitive racing crowd, we are also anticipating a high level of participation from the surrounding communities. Walkers are encouraged to come and support Bristow Run Elementary School and its efforts to go global!

Event schedule and times

* Packet pick up:- Bristow Run Elementary School on Friday, April 17th from 5:00pm-8:00pm

* 8990 Worthington Dr, Bristow, VA 20136  (703-753-7741)
* Registration morning of the race from 6:30am – 7:45am (we urge you to sign up early and pick up packet on Friday evening!)
* Pasta Dinner at Bristow Run ES on Friday, April 17th from 5:00pm-8:00pm (please call the school for details)
 

Start time – 8:00am

Awards – 9:00am

 PWC Police directing traffic and volunteers directing runners. The right lane of Worthington Drive from Linton Hall to Braided Stream will be closed from 7:00am – 10:30am.
