JFK 20 & 5K

The JFK 20 & 5K will againg be held in mid January starting on Water Street in Georgetown, and completing an out-and-back course on the Capital Crescent Trail. The 20K will count as the fourth DC Road Runners Snowball Series race.

Distance and course: This race will feature both a 20K and a 5k out and back on the Capital Crescent Trail: Course Map.

Registration: Please Register online before the race, there will be only a limited number of same day registrations. Online registration will close at 11:30 P.M. on January 15.

Race-day Information: Please arrive early to pick up your timing chip.
Registration table will open at 8:00 A.M.
The race will start promptly at 9:00 A.M.

Timing and Awards: This race is timed using the Chronotrack timing system, please familirize yourself with how the timing tags work by visiting the Chronotrack website. Though this race is chip timed, scores will be determined by gun time for all award winners.

Directions
From Virginia: Cross Key Bridge into Georgetown. Turn right at end of Bridge onto M Strret NW. Turn right on Wisconsin Avenue NW and proceed to K Street NW. Turn right on K Street and look for on-streer or lot parking, which is plentiful. The race starts at the end of K Street, where the Capital Crescent Trail begins.

From Maryland: Depending on your location, take either Wisconsin Avenue into Georgetown, or take Clara Barton Parkway/Canal Road into Georgetown. Proceed to Wisconsin Avenue and K Street as noted above.
