This is the sixth Bunion Derby Race.

Welcome to the hottest 5K in town!  This year we will be holding the Women's Distance Festival 5K on the same day and race course.  The Women's Distance Festival 5K will start at 7:00 PM and the Bluemont 5K open race will start at 7:15 PM.  Both races will be chip timed and timing chips will be provided to all participants on the day of the race (please arrive early to pick your chip up).  Expect high heat and humidity for these races so please come prepared and well hydrated.  The race course is out-and-back mostly on the Washington & Old Dominion multi-use trail.  The trail may be crowded during the races so please be aware and considerate of other users.

Prizes will be offered to the Overall Male winner of the Bluemont 5K and Overall Female winner of the WDF 5K, as well as to the Top 3 finishers in the 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-up age group categories.

Race Rees: Free for DCRRC members, $5 for non-members.

Registration: members and nonmembers Please register online by 4:00 PM Aug. 3, 2009.
Race day registration is available on-site between 6-7 PM.
