Reports:

Website/Communications:  The possibility of adding a link on the website to our newsletter pages that appear in Race Packet was proposed again.  Topics for next newsletter were discussed.

Track Workouts & Saturday Long Run:  Track workouts have returned to the track itself, and the start time for SLR will move to 7am on Memorial Day.  SLR is still actively recruiting beverage volunteers.

Races:   The WomenŐs Distance Festival/Run After the Women will be moved from June 3 to June 12 due to permit constraints.  T-shirts will not be provided this year.  Permits are to be confirmed for other June races including the first four Bunion Derby races.  In order to aid members in making decisions regarding hot weather running, a link to the RRCA recommendations on this topic was added to the website.  The ClubŐs Turkey Trot will become a part of Race PacketŐs Grand Prix series in 2008.

Finances:  Getek reported on the ClubŐs current finances and requested information to invoice for race management services.

Membership:  DCRRC membership statistics by gender, state, member type, age group and gender, and age group and state are available online.

Training Programs:  The 10k training program wraps up in the coming weekend, and the 10-Mile Training Program is ready to go, with Peter Lamberton as coach of this program as well.  The Marathon Training Program is set to begin on June 9, and Grant will confirm guaranteed entries for participants.

Other Business:

1.        Merchandise:  Diegoli and OŐBrien will work together to help Karol Murray with any merchandise questions.  The goal is to have a presentation of ideas and prices for the July Board Meeting.

2.        Hill Workouts:  With MartzŐs impending departure from the area, the future of the hill workouts was discussed.  Grant will solicit a new leader via the PresidentŐs blog.

Grant adjourned the meeting at 9:15pm.

Next meeting:  Monday, July 9, 2007.
