Treasurer -- George Getek

George has been a member of the DCRRC since 1979, when he began his running career at age 31. George has been the race director for the Burke Lake 12K since 1996. He was first elected to the DCRRC Board in 2001 as a director-at-large and has served as DCRRC Treasurer since 2003.

When not in running attire, George worked as an IT specialist at the Navy Federal Credit Union in Vienna, Virginia. Recently retired, George resides in Burke, Virginia, with Ellen, his bride of 33 years, and continues his community involvements.
