Bluemont 5K
Tuesday, August 05 2008, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Hits : 1309
Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)

Registration: On-site registration begins one hour before the start of the race.

Entry Fee: $5 for non-members, free for members.

Directions: Take I-66 to Ballston, South on Glebe Rd. Turn West onto Wilson Blvd., go about 1.5 miles.

The race location is the "south" pavilion on the W&OD and 4-Mile Run Trails. The pavilion is located about 1/4 mile from the tennis court pavilion that we used in prior years.
There is a parking lot located off 4 St N and N Manchester Street .
Take Route 50 (Arlington Blvd) and turn north on N. Manchester – the entrance to the parking lot is on the right at the end of Manchester.

Observe parking restrictions, as the Arlington Police have been known to tow during our Bon Air races. If you can't find space in the lot, additional parking is available at the Bluemont Park Tennis Courts and Bon Air parking lots, about 1/4 mile to the north. Be careful to observe all parking restrictions around the park - do not get your vehicle towed or ticketed.

East Falls Church Metro is probably the closest stop. It is about 2.2 miles from the race – see attached.
