Bastille Day Four Miler

Date: Saturday, July 14

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Place: Fletcher's Boathouse

Distance: Four miles.

Registration: On-site registration begins one hour before the race start.

Entry Fee: Free for DCRRC members; $5 for non-members.

Directions: From Virginia: Take the Key Bridge to DC, turn left onto M Street. Bear left onto Canal Rd. Proceed about 2.0 miles. Entrance is on the left. USE CAUTION! The entrance is a one lane drive that is used for an exit and and an entrance.

From Washington, D.C.: Proceed west on "M" St. through Georgetown. Pass Key Bridge, bear left onto Canal Road, and proceed as above.

From Maryland/I-495: Since there is no right turn allowed from Canal Road into Fletcher's Boat House, best option is to cross into Virginia, take exit for George Washington Memorial Parkway (East). Take Parkway to Key Bridge/Rosslyn exit and proceed as above.

Other information: This race is Bunion Derby Race #4 and the 2006 4 Mile Championship Race.
